Classroom-Based AAC Boards
The AAC boards below are designed to serve as examples of
possible ways to organize boards that children who use AAC can
use within specific classroom activities.
Notice that some of the boards contain single concepts and are
organized to facilitate the use of simple multi-symbol messages
(for ex, I + WATCH + ANT), whereas other boards contain full
messages (for ex, IT'S A COOL ANT FARM). For many children,
however, it will be appropriate to use a combination of single
concept messages and full, pre-programmed messages within the
same board.
