Dr. Seuss AAC Boards
The Dr. Seuss boards below were developed for a
preschooler with autism who was just beginning to
use voice output devices. The boards were
designed to improve his early turn-taking skills and
to capture his interest; therefore, most of the
boards focus on the characters in the story. This
approach is quite different from many of the other
boards posted on this site (e.g., Little Critter, Dora,
and Clifford boards), which were designed to
facilitate early symbol combinations (e.g., DORA
RIDE BIKE).
